Elizabeth Bento, New Coordinator for School of Global Studies

Foundation Academy is proud to welcome Elizabeth Bento as newly appointed coordinator for the School of Global Studies.

Born in Texas, USA to immigrant parents, Beth and her six siblings grew up in a small Brazilian community. Beth studied Missiology and Bible Translation in Brasilia at the CLM (Course of Missiology and Linguistics), with emphasis on anthropology. Beth had the opportunity to do her Anthropology and Linguistic internship in three native Brazilian tribes where she was able to closely observe life there and her project focused mainly on the role of the women and children in the tribe. After this course, Beth moved to São Paulo where she married Wilson (Coordinator for the School of Divinity) and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Theology at Southern Presbyterian Seminary (Seminário Presbiteriano do Sul). In 2016, Beth, her husband and two small children moved to the Netherlands to continue their studies. Currently, she is studying to receive a teacher’s license and a Masters in Education.
As of April 2021, Beth will be coordinating the overal affairs of the School of Global Studies.
Beth is working as a volunteer staff member.
